These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Rabbit Reader mobile application ("App") operated by Rabbit Reader ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.
Description of Service
Rabbit Reader is a speed reading and eye training application that helps users improve their reading speed and comprehension. The App provides reading tools, eye training exercises, a public domain book library, and progress tracking features.
User Accounts
You may create an account to access cloud synchronization and premium features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
Subscriptions & Payments
- Free Tier: The App offers core functionality for free, including basic speed reading modes and limited exercise access.
- Premium Tier: Additional features are available through a paid subscription, including advanced exercises, extended file size limits, and premium games.
- Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings.
User Content
You retain ownership of any content you import into the App (books, documents). We do not claim ownership of your imported content. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any content you import.
Public Domain Content
Books available through the in-app library are sourced from Project Gutenberg and are in the public domain. We do not claim ownership of public domain content.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Distribute, share, or resell your account access
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure
Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, features, code, and content (excluding user-imported content and public domain books), is owned by Rabbit Reader and protected by intellectual property laws. The Rabbit Reader name, logo, and mascot are our trademarks.
Limitation of Liability
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time from the Settings screen.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify you of material changes through the App.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
